Submitting Tip Information
The Gillette Crime Stoppers organization is committed to the long-standing policy that Crime Stoppers started with – 100% anonymity. If you have concerns regarding the information you provide, you NEVER have to provide any personal information about yourself to us or law enforcement.
The tip information is given a specific Tip ID number and your tip is secured with a Password. This is generated by the P3(Navigate) anonymous reporting system we use. If you call in, text or email your tip to us, we enter it into P3 and provide you the information necessary to check on your tip or add to it if new information becomes available.
You will need the Tip ID number and Password anytime you wish to add to your tip information or check on the status of your reward.
Media
The information we publish regarding most wanted fugitives, criminal cases needing further community help, or the identification of person(s) who are suspects in a crime are authorized by the investigating agency or already publicly accessible and are not specially restricted from the public.
Regardless if a tip is eligible for a reward or not, we NEVER publish information for the public to see regarding what was included in the tip provided. This is also a means of maintaining 100% anonymity.
If a tip is accepted for a cash reward, we DO NOT publicize this information. We only notify the eligibility of a reward through the secured P3 system.
Phone/Text numbers – Email addresses
When you call or text or send an email with tip information, once you receive your Tip ID and Password the voicemail, text messages or emails received are deleted and not stored anywhere. This also provides security in case of a digital attack to P3 servers so that no personal information provided by a tipster is ever stored.
Using the P3 software to check on your reward status is critical, but not the only way you can check. If you call, text or email us including the Tip ID number and Password, we can then look at your tip and notify you of the status of that tip and a reward.
Who we share your data with
No one. We don’t collect any data about you. Ever.
